Drug-related execution · 2026-08-15 · Ardabil Central Prison
The death date determines this record’s month, not the publication date. This is one named case, not a comprehensive monthly casualty total.
Hengaw identifies Farhad Mohebbi as a Turkish prisoner, married and a father of four. It reports his execution on drug-related charges after approximately two years in detention. The report covers three separate cases: the August 19 dates for the other prisoners must not be assigned to Mohebbi. It says none of the three executions had been announced by state or judiciary-affiliated media. [1]
The linked reporting is not a complete court or medical file. Allegations, official charges and independent findings are distinguished rather than combined.
No portrait with sufficiently verified identity and reusable provenance was established in this review. No generated face, unrelated person or protest photograph is presented as this person.
