Drug-related execution · 2026-09-14 · Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan
The death date determines this record’s month, not the publication date. This is one named case, not a comprehensive monthly casualty total.
Hengaw identifies Rezvan Asgharzadeh as a mother of six, arrested seven years earlier on drug-related charges. It says Branch Five of Isfahan’s Revolutionary Court sentenced her about two years before execution and the Supreme Court upheld the sentence. The report describes transfer from Dowlatabad Prison the evening before execution. Her husband was reported at risk, not executed; he is not added as a death record. [1]
The linked reporting is not a complete court or medical file. Allegations, official charges and independent findings are distinguished rather than combined.
